Michael Sadoff is an award-winning fiction writer based in Charlotte, NC, who writes about people in dire need of connections.

His recently completed collection, THE HOTEL MOTEL: 13 STORIES, is about outsiders living temporary lives in temporary places, all desperately trying to find a home but getting stuck instead on the proverbial thirteenth floor.

Michael’s stories have appeared in South Carolina Review, Sixfold Fiction, Main Street Rag, Litmosphere, Barely South Review and Change Seven Magazine. He recently received a Pushcart Prize nomination and received 1st place in the Lit/South Awards.

He has an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte. He also has dabbled in humorous essays, sketch comedy and childrearing, the latter of which was only funny in hindsight.
